Résumé : Les filières d’étude ont-elles une influence sur la construction de l’opinion et les choix politiques des étudiants ? L’objectif de cette étude explicative quantitative, réalisée auprès d’un échantillon de 332 étudiants répartis dans 12 établissements universitaires de Bangui dont 9 publics constituant le groupe expérimental et 3 privés constitués comme groupe de contrôle, est de mettre en évidence les effets respectifs de la filière d’étude universitaire et de l’expérience personnelle dans les processus de politisation des étudiants. Le traitement des données a été fait à l’aide du logiciel Sphinx Plus. L’étude a montré que si l’établissement d’appartenance, les filières et le niveau d’étude, le milieu d’origine des étudiants contribuent à la construction de leurs intérêts et attitude pour la politique, le rôle de l’enseignement supérieur, parce qu’orienté vers un utilitarisme social et l’environnement universitaire, parce que marqué par le bâillonnement de toute voix contraire à l’ordre ambiant, ont fini en revanche, par avoir raison de tout mouvement de revendication sauf quand il s’agit d’une participation politique suscitée et orientée. Résignation ou conformité aux règles du jeu politique imposées ?

Abstract: Do study programs influence the construction of students’ opinions and political choices? The objective of this quantitative explanatory study, conducted on a sample of 332 students from 12 universities in Bangui, including 9 public institutions that constitute the experimental group and 3 private institutions as a control group, is to highlight the respective effects of the university study program and personal experience in the politicization process. Data processing was done using Sphinx Plus software. The study showed that while the institution to which they belong, the courses and level of study, and the background of students contribute to the construction of their interests and attitudes towards politics, the role of higher education, because it is oriented towards social utilitarianism, and the university environment, because it is marked by the silencing of any voice contrary to the prevailing order, have ended up, on the other hand, overcoming any protest movement except when it comes to aroused and oriented political participation. Resignation or conformity to the imposed rules of the game?
