Résumé:
La présente étude qui porte sur les jeux d’argent et son impact a été motivée par le constat de l’ampleur que prend chaque jour ce phénomène dans nos villes et surtout à Bangui à travers ses multiples manifestations. La prolifération des pratiques de jeux d’argent et de hasard dans la ville de Bangui, génère dans le comportement des joueurs, l’esprit d’un salaire journalier avec cette illusion de l’enrichissement rapide. Les résultats de cette étude mettent en relief l’impact de ces jeux sur la population centrafricaine en général, et celle de sa capitale en particulier, qui a tendance à se lancer sur ces pistes de la facilité pécuniaire avec pour conséquences, le risque de s’immerger dans la dépendance aux jeux, la délinquance, le défaitisme, l’incertitude.

Abstract:
This study, which focuses on gambling and its impact, was motivated by the observation of the growing scale of this phenomenon in our cities, particularly in Bangui, through its various manifestations. The main question of this research is: what are the stakes related to the proliferation of gambling in our city? As for the main hypothesis, it is clear that the proliferation of gambling and chance-based practices in the city of Bangui generates in the behavior of players the mindset of earning a daily wage, with the illusion of quick wealth.
The results of this study highlight the impact of these games on the Central African population in general, and particularly on the capital’s population, which tends to engage in these easy financial paths, leading to consequences such as the risk of developing gambling addiction, delinquency, defeatism, uncertainty.
