RESUME
L’essor de l’hévéaculture s’est accompagné de l’incursion de nouveaux cadres autres que ceux qualifiés de cadre au sommet de l’échelle sociale du pays par F. Ruf (2012 : 103). Il s’agit des citadins de toute profession. Le présent travail s’intéresse donc à la présence de ces nouveaux acteurs dans l’hévéaculture. L’objectif poursuivi par cette étude est de présenter le profil sociodémographique des hévéaculteurs citadins et les moyens utilisés pour le développement de l’hévéa dans la sous-préfecture d’Aboudé-Mandeké, dans le département d’Agboville. Pour atteindre cet objectif, la méthode de travail s’est basée sur la recherche documentaire, l’observation de terrain, de l’enquête par le questionnaire et de l’entretien. Les résultats montrent que ces nouveaux acteurs du paysage hévéicole sont constitués de 59,65 % de fonctionnaire d’Etat, 14,04 % d’employés du secteur privé, 12,28 % de commerçants, 1,75 % de religieux et 12,28 % de retraités. Pour le développement des activités agraires hévéicoles, ces acteurs ont une facilité d’accéder à la terre arable par les voies de la marchandisation foncière.

The brief foray of city dwellers into the development of rubber trees in Côte d’Ivoire : the case of rubber farmers in the Sub-Prefecture of Aboudé-Mandeké in the department of Agboville.
ABSTRACT
The growth of rubber culture has been coupled with the insertion of new executives other than those described as the top executive in the country by Ruf (2012). These are city dwellers of any profession. This project has been designed to study the socio-demographic profile of these city dwellers of rubber and to show how they have access to land and the techniques used to harness the land for crop production. The space for this scientific practice is the Sub-Prefecture of Aboudé-Mandeké in the western part of the department of Agboville. The approach is based on documentary research, field observation and questionnaire administration. The results show that 59.65% of these new players in the rubber industry are civil servants, 14.04% private sector employees, 12.28% tradesmen, 1.75% religious leaders and 12.28% retirees. These players promote the purchase of arable land as part of the land acquisition process, and the majority of them own the land titles. Considering distance-time factors, the majority of farmers visit their farms once a month. They also promote the creation of camps as a means of controlling and securing farms and production.
